The Jewish Federation of Florida's Gulf Coast is excited to continue honoring the women who have a lasting impact on the Jewish communities of Pinellas, Pasco, and Hernando counties! Since 2002, our Women of Distinction celebration has recognized dynamic women whose leadership reflects the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam—repairing the world through service.

This year, each participating Jewish organization has nominated a Woman of Distinction for the Sonya Miller Women of Distinction Award.

The recognition event will take place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Temple B’nai Israel, at 2:00 pm. The guest speaker for the event will be Lizzy Savetsky an American social media influencer and activist known for her work fighting antisemitism, advocating for the State of Israel, and empowering Jewish people to be proud of their identity and religion.
