Introducing our guest speakers:

Kelly Siegel is the Jewish Community Partnership Specialist for Empath Health/Suncoast Hospice providing outreach to the community on all of the healthcare services through Empath Health including those focusing on managing chronic illness, not just end of life. Kelly was the primary caregiver for her mother for 11 years during which she utilized services through the Aging and Disability Resource Center, Suncoast Hospice, home health agencies, elder law attorney, and private duty homecare services.

Cindy Stern Minetti is the Senior Director for Jewish Family Services programs at Gulf Coast JFCS. Cindy oversees the Holocaust Survivor program, Holocaust CHAI program, Jewish Family Support, Yad b’Yad, CHATS, and the William & Sally Israel Food Pantry.

Marlene Swain has been working for Gulf Coast JFCS for 5 ½ years where she was recently promoted to Program Manager over the Holocaust Survivor Program. She feels the work is so incredibly important to be able to contribute to the well-being of Holocaust survivors.  Marlene has always been active in the Jewish Community, since settling in Florida 32 years ago. She previously owned a medical supply business, before coming to work at Gulf Coast. 

Renee Baseman has been a counselor on staff with JFS for 23 years, where she has had clients as young as 5 years up to 82 years.  She has also had a regular discussion group at Phillip Benjamin Tower.  She is also a facilitator with the Holocaust Survivor program’s Pinellas and Hillsboro Chavurot.  Renee has led groups for Caregiving, Bereavement, and Parenting in Pinellas County.
