Over the course of 2019, a group of CBS artists gathered to explore the inner meanings of “Lecha Dodi”, the centerpiece of the Kabbalat Shabbat service. Through a process of study, conversation, and reflection, the artists focused their creativity on a visual interpretation of the prayer.  This installation is the product of their creative efforts. 

Join us on Friday evening September 6 for the opening of this exhibit  Each member created a piece of art in their favorite medium which interprets Lecha Dodi. The participating artists include:

Batya Bar Av, Carol Davis, Rabbi Danielle Upbin, Jennifer Gozlan, Johanna Bromberg,  Judy Zimlin, Nan Shane, Randi Kraus, Roni Igel, Sharon Rophie, Esther Elliott.

The collection will be on display through Rosh Hashanah.
