Rosh Chodesh 2.0
Wednesday, August 16, 2023 • 29 Av 5783
7:00 PM - 9:00 PMWhat does "Rosh Chodesh” mean? It is Hebrew for “Head of the Month”, a sacred occasion celebrated at the beginning of every new month on the Hebrew calendar. Rosh Chodesh through the ages has come to be known as a special time for women to gather, relax and celebrate as we reset our intentions for renewed strength and energy in the month ahead.
Rosh Chodesh 2.0 is led by Rabbi Danielle Upbin and it is open to Jewish and non-Jewish identified women. Meetings are on the Third Wednesday of the month. Check the CBS Calendar for exact dates, times, and registration
Learn about our guest speaker, Karen Ledesma:
My work is designed to help re-awaken the wisdom, power, and medicine of the Sacred Feminine through Sacred Circle, Rites of Passage, and the blueprint of the Medicine Wheel. Within a small circle or private ceremony, we may focus on embodiment, emotional healing, vision questing, or honoring an initiatory Rite of Passage such as a coming birth, a coming of age, a wedding, significant life change, loss, or the end of a cycle. I also incorporate birth charts as a blueprint of our deeper soul intent. As a woman and mother, I am passionate about restoring wholeness, creativity, purpose, and interconnection to the female experience, as a soulful process of remembrance. It is an honor and a joy to work with women of all ages in this capacity.
